Registration Information
Thank you so much for choosing to dance at Pauline Baker Rodgers School of Dance at our Duncansville studio! We are so excited to dance with your child and make them a part of the PBR Dance family. Please review the information and class schedule below. To register for our Duncansville studio, please email [email protected] for the registration link. Register before September 1st to receive 50% off the registration fee ($15 instead of $30). Registration for our Duncansville location is now open!
Back to Dance:
- Thursday, Sept 5th

Vacation Dates/No Class:
- Halloween – October 31st
- Thanksgiving – November 26th – December 2nd
- Christmas – December 23rd – January 5th
- Spring Break – April 15th – April 21st (unless used for snow make up)
The Nutcracker: Performances will be held December 6th-8th at the Mishler Theatre. Auditions were previously held. All practices will be on the weekend and not during class.
Annual PBR Dance Recital: Jaffa Shrine | Saturday, May 17th 2025 | 6:00 PM- Please see the class descriptions for participating classes.
Recital Rehearsal/Staging/Tech Week: May 13th, 14th, &15th
Schedule TBD, please mark afternoons/evenings off your schedule for this week.
Tentative schedule:
- Act I & II (Ballet) rehearsal - Tuesday, May 13th
- Act III rehearsal - Wednesday, May 14th
- Dress Rehearsal - Thursday, May 15th at 6:00pm
2024-2025 Tuition Fee Schedule - Duncansville Location
- Calculated by total enrollment time per student
- Multi-student family (same household) discount: 20% off 2nd student, 30% off any additional
- $30 registration fee per family, $15 if registered by September 1st
- 9 monthly tuition payments due Sept-May (regardless of # classes each month)
- Payments made after the 10th of each month will incur a $10 late fee
- PBR Duncansville uses Jackrabbit Technologies for online class management. Email [email protected] to receive the registration link. Please remember your username (email) & password for parent portal access.
- Payment options: Cash, Check to PBR Dance, or credit card on file with JackRabbit
- Tuition fees are posted to JackRabbit the 1st of each tuition month, cards on file will be processed automatically on the 5th. Do not enter a card or remove your card if you wish to pay by cash/check.
- Payment by Credit Card: If you choose to enter a credit card on file with JackRabbit, the registration fee along with the first month’s tuition will be processed September 5th.
- Payment by cash or check: Do not enter a credit card on JackRabbit. Please mail a check to PBR DANCE (memo Duncansville w/ Dancer’s name) for REGISTRATION FEE ONLY to PBR DANCE 331 N. 6th Ave, Altoona PA 16601. First month’s tuition due upon arrival to the first class by cash or check.
Recital Fees:
- $40 recital fee per family– includes the digital link for the recital recording. Due by April 10th
- Approximately $80-$130 per costume/recital class. Due by February 1st
- No refunds are available for early withdrawal after February 1st once costumes are purchased
- Pre-order recital T-Shirts, please plan to pay $20.
- Students will be required to purchase any tights and shoes necessary in addition to the costume fee.
